In the heart of the Alps...

25/09/2009. 25 October 2009 was a special day for us: our first website was born one year before! Lots of ideas were proposed to celebrate the anniversary, but at the end the chose was made: a Photographic special train on the LeNORD's Brescia-Edolo line.
ALn 668 121 is the protagonist of this special service. This is a DMU used regularly everyday on the line, but was painted with the historical SNFT (Società Nazionale Ferrovie e Tranvie, who owned the line before LeNORD) livery White-Orange.
Finding 30 friends to have fun (and take pictures) togheter was not so difficult! So, after we have organised all the details to make good stops and great photos (A special thanks to Davide Piva, Giorgio Stagni, Stefano Paolini and the super-kind staff of LeNord), the 25th morning we are all ready to go!
We meet all togheter at Rovato Borgo railway station, ready to reach Malonno, the destination of our tour. With a great sun, we begin to take pictures and run around the valley. At lunch-time we reach Malonno and finally we have a break. Let's eat something togheter. But we have no so much time! After one hour, we leave Malonno's station to came back in Rovato. All the afternoon is dedicated to all other points that we haven't touched in the morning. We reach our destination at the sunset, after lots of shots and kilometers.
The satisfaction is so high!
After all the photos, it was great above all for the company! People from all North-Italy and not only!
This photo was took immediatly after the begin of the return trip. |
